6/26/2020…Geneva Area City Schools just released a new website and app. They will be providing more information to families as they finalize and correct some information. The app will allow for “real time” notifications to families and specific schools. Download the app from the Apple Store or Google Play. More details are available on their website! 
4/29/2020…All school buildings that provide any kindergarten through grade twelve instruction in the State of Ohio are to remain closed to students until 11:59 p.m. on June 30, 2020.

The Ohio Department of Education released the Remote Learning Resource Guide-During the Coronavirus Pandemic Ordered School-Building Closure. It is designed to be a one-stop shop to help schools, educators, students, parents and caregivers consider how to approach and apply a comprehensive remote learning plan that enables each child to carry on learning during this time of social distancing.

Today…Monday, March 30, 2020, Governor DeWine announced that the closures of all Ohio Schools has been extended to at least May 1st to limit the spread and exposure of the coronavirus (COVID-19).  
From the Geneva Schools:
Geneva Schools will be providing a bag breakfast & lunch Tuesday March 17-Friday March 20th and after Spring Break Monday March 23-Friday March 27. Pick up will be available at the Geneva Middle School @ 839 Sherman St., Back parking lot entrance, between 8:00am- 12:00 noon. See below for other sites where meals will be available for pick up also.

You can pick up breakfast & lunch at the same time for multiple students in the district. Meals are grab & go. No onsite dining available.

Today…Thursday, March 12, 2020, Governor DeWine announced that all Ohio Schools will be closed for an extended break of 3 weeks to help limit the spread and exposure of the coronavirus (COVID-19).  
The Geneva Area City Schools will be CLOSED for students beginning on Monday, March 16th through Sunday, April 5th.  At this time, students will report back to school on Monday, April 6th.
